Seitz: C. angustimargo Schaus. Different from stibosticta (14 g) by the forehead being only laterally white; on the abdomen only the 2 last segments are black; the white spots on the thorax are absent. Legs dark brown, forehips white-striped. Forewing with a narrow black distal margin. Expanse of wings: m 29, f 37 mm. Costa Rica. compare: C. stibosticta Btlr. differs from braconoides by the absence of the discoidal spot and an entirely unmarked abdomen. Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia. — The white spots on the head, thorax, hips and bases of the wings may be absent altogether: dealbata form. nov. (= ab. 1 Hmps.) but instead there may occur metallic blue spots both at the places of the white spots and on the black abdominal apex: caerulescens form, nov. (= ab. 2 Hmps.).
